I’m Charisse, also known as The Body Coach but my friends call me Cease. I am an Australian holistic health advocate and fitness coach. I live rurally in a small wheatbelt farming community in WA.

I have a passion for creating fun and versatile home workouts that can fit into even the busiest of schedules. As a wife, mother of three and business woman, I have found the dynamic of my workouts have changed significantly over time, smashing myself in the gym for an hour a day was no longer possible, nor effective, so I began to create workouts that I could complete in the comfort of my own home and that were time effective. I have never had the greatest attention span and having completed MANY different programs myself over the years, one thing I knew I wanted from my own; was variety, not one workout is the same as another.

Having children has driven me to become the absolute best possible version of myself, working on inner health and understanding that what is going on on the outside is only ever a reflection of what is happening on the inside.

Group Workouts

Our group classes consist of lots of different styles of training such as HIIT, box fit, strength training, step, stretch and low burn, bootcamps, the list goes on. The classes are open to all levels of fitness, gender and age (babies and children are ALWAYS most welcome).

PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training is about getting to know my clients on a deeper level to understand their “why” and what drives them. It’s so much more than just designing a personalised health and fitness program and I feel honoured to help coach clients through this process.

ONLINE TRAining FORUM

The 8 Week Mind & Body Journey is an online forum for like minded woman to come together completing fun and versatile workouts while building on your relationship with yourself.  This journey includes coaching from me through a pdf and our online facebook group.

Our life on the farm

I am not your average farm wife and I never have been. I spent a lot of years feeling guilt over this, but my husband has never expected that of me and always supports and pushes me to do what makes my soul sing.

Living on the farm has become an integral part of who I am and why I have chosen to pursue my dreams. We live 300km from any city and our home is surrounded by paddocks, dirt roads and the most breathtaking sunsets. While the farm can at times be a noisy place (chickens bickering, dogs barking, machinery sounds) I love the peace and calmness that it brings to our life. One of the biggest unknowns in farming is the weather. We farm in a low rainfall area and our farmers are very clever with what they can grow with the little rain that we receive. This has taught me patience and perseverance.

Farming, especially on a small family farm like ours, has no off season. We farm wheat and livestock, so there is rarely a time that you can pick up and go as the sheep will always need to be checked or fed and even when we are in the quieter time of our cropping program, there is always something to be done. Farming requires sacrifices of time and energy and watching so many men and women work tirelessly to provide food and fibre that nourishes and clothes us, has only made me more appreciative of the beginning point of our food process and the incredible humans that make this possible.
